St Georges Day was celebrated today with a matchplay challenge, England taking on the rest of the world. 48 members fought out the game at a bright but very breezy Silves course. All matches were played in a fantastic spirit with the eventual winners being the Rest of the World 7 - 5, the result hung in the balance with the final match going to the last green. All the photographs of the day can be seen here

Thanks to Charles Bradshaw, who is away in the UK, for donating the nearest the pin prizes. The winners being Steve Edwards and Judi Murphy.

The Captain - Geoff Cox - was pleased with the fantastic atmosphere, he was also happy to thank all those who have worked hard to arrange the day.
