Well another great ladies day on the sunny Algarve, 22 lady members and guests turned out on this beautiful day. All enjoyed the game of Seattle Shambles, the winning teams being:

1st place with 101 points - Annie Chapman, Pauline Ball, Pauline Wallace and Marjika Rombots.

2nd place with 96 points - Judi Murphy, Marja Chapman, Maz McGill and a ghost.

3rd place with 89 points - sandy Rumfitt, Hannah McMahon, Mags Taylor and Sally Hoyer-Kruse.

All were presented with lovely prizes of various candles, very attractively put together from Elegant Glow in Guia.

Wendy Emrich kindly donated a nearest the pin prize of a lovely bottle of bubbly, which was won by Marijka Rombouts on the the 16th hole.

We all raised a glass to respect the death of a dear friend of some of our members. Carolina who died peacefully this week. Carolina did a lot of charity work for cancer whom many of us supported and will be very sadly missed. We would like to thank Mags for organising this and saying some lovely things about Carolina.

The photograph taken of us all, glass in hand will be sent to the family of Carolina.
